Unfortunately, Jimmy Van de Walle from Belgium cannot compete at Halkirk due to unforeseen circumstances. His place has been allocated to Vladislav Tulacek from the Czech Republic. Tulacek has only turned professional this year and is already attracting attention by breaking ground records in the shot putt at many Games. The shot putt events start at 11am, so be early to catch the action.
